Could a common pain drug deplete your vitamins?
NCT ID NCT07013305
Summary
This study looked back at medical records to see if a common fibromyalgia pain medication (pregabalin) affects patients' vitamin B12 and folate levels. Researchers analyzed data from 104 adults with fibromyalgia who were not taking vitamin supplements. The goal was to gather knowledge about potential side effects of long-term medication use, not to test a new treatment.
