Scientists search for hidden nerve damage in fibromyalgia pain
NCT ID NCT06527183
Summary
This study aims to understand if people with fibromyalgia have specific damage to their small nerve fibers compared to people with other types of chronic pain or healthy individuals. Researchers will use skin biopsies and other tests to measure nerve health in 150 participants. The goal is to learn if this nerve damage is linked to the pain and other symptoms of fibromyalgia.
