Could parenting a child with ADHD worsen a Mother's chronic pain?

NCT ID NCT07327775

Summary

This study aims to understand if having a child with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) increases the pain and disability experienced by mothers who also have fibromyalgia. Researchers will compare 50 mothers with fibromyalgia who have a child with ADHD to 50 mothers with fibromyalgia whose children do not have psychiatric disorders. They will measure pain levels, quality of life, and nervous system sensitivity to see if there is a difference between the two groups.
