Scientists probe Gut's role in personalized nutrition
NCT ID NCT04633369
Summary
This study aims to understand how eating different amounts of dietary fiber affects a person's gut bacteria and blood sugar levels while they follow a time-restricted eating schedule (fasting for 16 hours, eating within an 8-hour window). Researchers will monitor 115 healthy adults to learn how individual responses vary, which could inform future personalized nutrition advice. The study is observational and does not test a treatment.
