In-womb balloon procedure aims to save babies with underdeveloped lungs

Summary
This study tests a procedure called FETO, where a tiny balloon is placed in the baby's windpipe while still in the womb, to help the lungs grow in babies with severe left congenital diaphragmatic hernia. About 10 pregnant women carrying a baby with this condition will be enrolled. The goal is to see if the procedure is safe and effective at improving lung growth and survival after birth.
