New belly sensor aims to safely monitor Baby's oxygen in the womb

NCT ID NCT06405984

Summary

This early study tested whether a new, non-invasive sensor placed on the mother's belly could safely detect a baby's oxygen levels during labor. The goal is to develop a tool that works alongside standard monitoring to help spot babies in distress. The data collected was for research only and was not used to guide care for the 35 women who participated.
