First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looks at how a mother's lifestyle—like smoking, drinking, or pollution exposure—can affect her baby's development in the womb and health later in life. Researchers will study fetal tissue from 1,200 pregnancies (7-20 weeks) to understand these effects. The goal is to find ways to prevent long-term health problems like obesity and high blood pressure.
