New scan may spot hidden pituitary tumors in cushing disease

Summary
This study tests whether a special PET scan (FET PET/CT) can better locate tiny pituitary tumors that cause Cushing disease. About 50 adults with confirmed Cushing disease who are scheduled for surgery will receive the scan before their operation. The results will be compared to standard MRI and to what surgeons actually find during surgery to see if the new scan is more accurate.
