First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This small study tested whether using electrical stimulation to make arm muscles cycle on a special bike could help people with recent spinal cord injuries regain arm strength and function. Six participants with neck-level injuries completed 6 weeks of training, three times a week. The main goal was to see if the approach was practical and safe, with early signs of potential benefit.
