Summary

This study tested giving a high dose of intravenous iron (ferumoxytol) in just 15 minutes to 60 people with iron deficiency anemia who couldn't take oral iron. The goal was to see if it was safe and effective at raising hemoglobin levels. Participants were monitored for side effects right after the infusion and during follow-up calls and visits.
