Gentle hormone rinse tested to boost IVF success
NCT ID NCT06684951
Summary
This study tested if washing the uterus with a low dose of the hormone hCG after egg retrieval could improve the womb's environment for an embryo. It involved 90 women undergoing ICSI (a type of IVF) to see if this procedure changed certain blood markers and ultrasound measurements linked to successful implantation. The main goal was to understand if this approach could help more women get pregnant from their fertility treatment.
