Frozen ovaries offer new hope for cancer survivors wanting children

NCT ID NCT01870752

Summary

This study tests whether transplanting a woman's own previously frozen ovarian tissue back into her body can restore fertility after cancer treatments caused infertility. It involves women aged 18-45 who had ovarian tissue frozen before cancer therapy and now wish to become pregnant. Researchers will monitor if the transplant leads to pregnancy or the return of menstrual cycles, while checking for safety and cancer recurrence.
