New hope for young breast cancer patients wanting to preserve fertility
NCT ID NCT03947151
Summary
This study tested a new method to help women with breast cancer preserve their fertility before starting chemotherapy. The goal was to stimulate the ovaries to collect and freeze eggs while keeping estrogen levels low, which is safer for hormone-sensitive breast cancers. Eight women participated to see if this approach was effective and well-tolerated.
