Fertility boosters: can simple Add-Ons help women get pregnant?

NCT ID NCT07398924

Summary

This study tested whether adding vaginal estradiol or oral guaifenesin (a common cough medicine ingredient) to a standard fertility drug could improve a woman's chances of getting pregnant. The fertility drug, clomiphene citrate, helps with ovulation but can sometimes make the womb lining and cervical mucus less favorable for pregnancy. Researchers compared these add-ons in 90 women undergoing fertility treatment to see which combination worked best.
