Summary

This study tests the safety of a drug called ferric citrate in children aged 6 to 17 with chronic kidney disease who have high phosphorus levels. The drug is taken by mouth to help control phosphorus, which can cause bone and heart problems if too high. The study involves 45 children and focuses on side effects and how well the drug is tolerated over 36 weeks.
