Ohio courts hand out fentanyl test kits to stop overdoses
NCT ID NCT05493475
Summary
This study tested whether providing fentanyl test strips and education in Ohio drug courts is a practical way to help prevent overdoses. It involved 653 adults enrolled in various Ohio drug courts who reported using illicit stimulants. The goal was to see if this 'harm reduction' strategy was acceptable and could help people check their drugs for deadly fentanyl before use.
