Summary

This study tested whether mothers drinking fennel tea could reduce colic symptoms in their exclusively breastfed infants. 22 mothers of colicky babies aged 1-5 months drank one liter of fennel infusion daily for a week. Researchers tracked crying time and analyzed breast milk and baby stool samples to see if the tea changed gut bacteria.
