Could a repurposed drug stop seizures in babies with west syndrome?

Summary

This study tests whether fenfluramine can reduce or stop seizures in children aged 12 to 36 months with infantile spasms that did not improve with standard treatments. Ten children will receive the drug for 21 days, and brain activity will be measured before and after treatment. Those who respond well may continue treatment for up to 6 months.
