First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study compared two ways to close the artery in the leg after a heart catheter procedure: a small plug called FemoSeal versus pressing on the spot by hand. Over 1,000 adults took part. The goal was to see which method caused fewer large bruises and was more comfortable for patients.
