Summary
This study looks at whether monitoring blood pressure through the femoral artery (in the groin) is better than the usual radial artery (in the wrist) during and after heart surgery. The goal is to see if femoral monitoring reduces the need for strong blood pressure medications and lowers complications. About 340 adults having planned heart surgery will be randomly assigned to one of the two methods.
