First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a new technique called ultrasound-guided percutaneous neuromodulation (PNM-e) can improve vertical jump performance in healthy athletes. 29 athletes were split into two groups: one did only plyometric training, and the other did plyometric training plus PNM-e on the femoral nerve. The goal was to see if adding nerve stimulation leads to bigger jumps.
