First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study is checking how well a special metal nail (ZNN Bactiguard) works for fixing broken thigh bones. About 100 adults who need surgery for a thigh fracture will get this nail. Doctors will use X-rays and exams to see if the bone heals properly over 12 months. The goal is to make sure the nail is safe and helps patients recover.
