New nail for broken thighs under study

Summary

This study looks at a special metal nail used to fix broken thigh bones (femur fractures). The nail has a coating to help prevent infection. About 100 adults who need this surgery will be followed for a year to see how well the bone heals and how their leg functions. The goal is to confirm the nail is safe and works as intended.
