New coated bone nail aims to fight infection while healing breaks

Summary

This study is checking how well a special coated metal rod works for fixing broken thigh bones. It will follow 100 adults who get this rod during surgery to see how safely and effectively their bones heal over a year. The main goal is to confirm the rod helps bones mend properly and reduces the risk of infection after the operation.
