NCT ID NCT07484256

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study aims to find out how common female genital schistosomiasis (FGS) is among migrant women aged 15-49 who have gynecological symptoms and come from countries where the parasite is found. Researchers will use vaginal swabs and PCR tests to detect the infection, which is not part of standard care. The goal is to better understand FGS and improve diagnosis in this group.
