New tube feeding method may help stroke patients swallow better

Summary

This study looks at two ways to feed people who have had a stroke and have trouble swallowing. One method uses a tube that goes through the nose, and the other uses a tube that goes through the mouth. The goal is to see which method helps patients regain their ability to swallow safely and improves their overall health. About 156 adults who recently had a stroke will take part.
