Summary
This study tested a new feeding tube system designed to help nurses and doctors confirm proper tube placement in adult intensive care unit patients. The system uses an algorithm to check tube position, potentially reducing the need for frequent x-rays. The trial enrolled 45 critically ill patients but was terminated early.
