Poop pills vs probiotics: the fight against superbugs in your gut
NCT ID NCT07094984
Summary
This study is testing three different methods to clear dangerous antibiotic-resistant bacteria from people's intestines. Researchers will compare a fecal transplant (receiving processed stool from a healthy donor), a course of probiotic pills, and a special gut-friendly diet. They aim to find the best strategy to prevent these 'superbugs' from spreading and causing hard-to-treat infections.
