Summary

This study aimed to better understand how normal bowel movements work. Researchers used a new device called Fecobionics, designed to act like artificial stool, to measure pressures and movements during defecation in 35 healthy volunteers. The goal was to gather detailed information to help doctors better understand and treat conditions like fecal incontinence in the future.
