Could one session ease brain fog? new study tests quick fix for FCD
NCT ID NCT07379723
First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tests whether a single clinic session, including a mental focus exercise called the Attention Training Technique, can help people with Functional Cognitive Disorder (FCD). FCD causes memory and concentration problems without a clear physical cause. Thirty adults aged 65 or under will try the session and report on their symptoms, daily function, and quality of life. The goal is to see if this brief approach is practical and helpful enough to study further.
