Researchers probe Athletes' hidden fear of getting hurt again
NCT ID NCT05795426
Summary
This study aimed to understand 'kinesiophobia'—the fear of movement or re-injury—in amateur volleyball players. Researchers surveyed 52 players to see how this fear relates to their fatigue levels and sleep quality. The goal was to gather knowledge to potentially help athletes manage fear and improve recovery, not to test a treatment.
