First seen Apr 18, 2026 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looked at how fear, stomach discomfort, and gut hormones work together in women with eating disorders. 133 women completed a test meal while researchers measured their fear, fullness, nausea, and hormone levels. The goal was to better understand what causes ongoing eating disorder symptoms, not to test a treatment.
