Scientists test if barbell speed can reveal muscle exhaustion
NCT ID NCT07307963
Summary
This study aimed to find a simple way to measure muscle fatigue during weightlifting. Researchers tested 28 trained men doing squat exercises to see if changes in how fast they lifted weights could accurately show how tired their muscles were. The goal was to see if this speed measurement could be a useful tool for athletes and trainers to monitor workout intensity and recovery.
