Father's touch: a simple way to help newborns?
NCT ID NCT07302412
Summary
This study is testing if gentle touch from fathers can help newborns who are at risk for low blood sugar. For six hours after birth, some fathers will provide gentle, steady touch to their babies every hour. Researchers will then check if this helps the babies feed better, feel more comfortable, and maintain stable blood sugar levels compared to babies who receive only routine care.
