Summary

This study tests whether a brief, structured breastfeeding education for fathers shortly after birth can improve how they support breastfeeding and increase exclusive breastfeeding rates. About 240 fathers of healthy newborns will be randomly assigned to receive the education or standard care. Researchers will measure paternal support behaviors and infant feeding at 1, 3, and 6 months after birth.
