Which surgery works better for a shrunken face?
NCT ID NCT07305909
Summary
This study looked back at 60 patients with hemifacial atrophy, a condition where one side of the face shrinks. Researchers compared two common surgeries—fat grafting and tissue flap reconstruction—to see which one better improved facial symmetry. They measured results using before-and-after photos and 3D scans taken at least six months after surgery.
