Fat extract could speed healing and reduce scarring after skin grafts
NCT ID NCT07372404
Summary
This study is testing whether a substance extracted from human fat tissue can help skin graft donor sites heal better. In 30 adults having skin graft surgery, one donor site will get the fat extract, while the other gets standard care. Researchers will compare how quickly each site heals and the quality of the resulting scar.
