Can fasting days beat daily dieting for surgery patients?
NCT ID NCT06766747
Summary
This study tested if intermittent fasting (eating very little two days a week) works as well as daily calorie counting for people who regained weight after bariatric surgery. Sixteen participants were randomly assigned to follow one of the two diet plans for 12 weeks, with follow-up for another 12 weeks. Researchers measured weight loss, body fat, and health markers to see which approach was more effective.
