First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study watches 350 children having their tonsils out to see if how long they fast before surgery changes their pain levels afterward. Researchers will also track how much pain medicine they need and how long they stay in the hospital. The goal is to learn if shorter fasting times could help kids feel better after surgery.
