NCT ID NCT05832086

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests whether a special 5-day fasting-mimicking diet each month for 6 months can improve how well standard prostate cancer treatments work. About 138 men with prostate cancer that has spread will be randomly assigned to either the fasting diet or their usual diet. Researchers will measure PSA levels to see if the diet helps control the cancer better.
