Tiny holes in jawbone could make invisible braces work faster

NCT ID NCT07169968

Summary

This study is testing whether making tiny perforations in the jawbone can help clear aligners (like Invisalign) straighten crowded lower teeth faster and more predictably. Researchers are comparing standard aligner treatment to treatment combined with these micro-perforations in 20 adult participants. The main goal is to see if this technique reduces the total number of aligners needed and shortens overall treatment time.
