New recovery plan aims to get kids home sooner after surgery
NCT ID NCT07206836
Summary
This study is testing if a new recovery plan helps children heal faster after surgery to close a colostomy (stoma). Researchers will compare two groups of 60 children, ages 2-13. One group follows a modern plan with less fasting and earlier eating, while the other follows traditional care. The main goal is to see if the new plan shortens the hospital stay.
