Zap or cut? new study tests ways to make braces work faster
NCT ID NCT07466641
Summary
This study aims to see if two different procedures can help move teeth faster and with less pain during orthodontic treatment with braces. It will compare a minor surgical technique (piezocision) and a low-power laser therapy against standard treatment in young adults who need teeth straightened. Researchers will measure how quickly a specific tooth moves and how much pain patients experience.
