Could lasers make your braces work faster?
NCT ID NCT05227859
Summary
This study tested two methods to potentially speed up orthodontic treatment for adults with a specific type of misaligned bite. Researchers compared using a low-level laser or a minor gum-cutting procedure (piezocision) against standard treatment to see if they made teeth move faster into position. They also checked if these methods affected gum health during the process.
