Race for faster numbing: study tests two spinal shots for C-Sections
NCT ID NCT07349082
Summary
This study aims to find out which of two common spinal anesthesia techniques works faster and more safely for women having planned C-sections. Researchers will compare the standard epidural with a slightly different technique called a dural puncture epidural (DPE). They will measure how quickly each one numbs the patient, monitor blood pressure and heart rate, and track side effects like headaches or nausea.
