New stitch device aims to seal artery fast after heart procedures

Summary

This study is testing a new medical device that uses stitches to close the main leg artery after certain heart or blood vessel procedures. The goal is to see if it safely stops bleeding quickly. About 55 adults who need planned procedures using large tubes in the artery will take part. The device is placed right after the procedure to seal the artery.
