First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests a new one-hour digital program called FAST, designed to help college students build mental health resilience. Researchers will compare it to a relaxation training program in 105 students. The goal is to see if FAST improves sleep, physical activity, anxiety, loneliness, and overall well-being.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Fundamental Adaptive Skills Training (FAST) - a behavioral intervention
What this could lead to
If it works, this could provide a quick, accessible way to boost mental health resilience and reduce anxiety, sleep problems, and loneliness in college students.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage trial with only 105 participants, so results may not apply to all students. The intervention is brief and may not produce lasting changes.
