New MRI software could slash scan time for kids with brain tumors

NCT ID NCT03761121

First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests a new MRI software that aims to take pictures of the brain much faster than current methods. Researchers want to see if the quick scans are just as clear and useful for doctors as the standard slower scans. The study includes children and adults with low-grade glioma, as well as healthy volunteers. If successful, this could make MRI exams shorter and more comfortable for patients.
