One pill vs. many: new strategy aims to tame stubborn hypertension
NCT ID NCT07259733
Summary
This study is testing if a simpler treatment approach works better for people whose high blood pressure remains high despite taking multiple medications. Researchers are comparing a single pill that combines three common blood pressure drugs against the usual care of taking several separate pills. The goal is to see if the simpler approach helps more people reach a healthy blood pressure target after 12 weeks.
