First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tested two treatments—fascial manipulation (a hands-on technique) and dry needling (using thin needles)—for chronic plantar fasciitis, a common cause of heel pain. 36 women aged 25-45 received one of the treatments twice a week for six weeks. The goal was to see which method better reduces pain and improves walking and foot movement.
